Welcome to my share today. I wanted to make a simple yet elegant Christmas card for a friend of mine. I saw a gorgeous card made by Nicole Tugrul and asked her permission to use her design. (If you click on her name above it will link you to her card on her website. Thanks again, Nicole!
I did basically everything that Nicole did, except for using the Holly Jolly stamp set sentiments. This was a really easy card to make, as long as I kept my inky fingers off the whisper white cardstock lol.
Firstly, I used the 2″ circle punch to make the circle. I put that aside and using the negative of that image I sponged the inside of the circle with Blackberry bliss ink. I shaded it slightly more on the left to give a light source on the right hand side of the circle. I then stamped the snowflake on the circle and then using the original punched out circle as a mask, I stamped the other two snowflakes at the side and top. I stamped the little dots with blackberry bliss but stamped off in between to give two shades. Finally, I then cut out “peace” from the framelits and adhered it to the circle and added rhinestones to give the final “bling” to the card.
Here are the products I used to make the card.
