Last year my siblings and I took my Mum out for a “Special Birthday” High Tea. We had a lovely time with lots of lovely sandwiches, savouries and divine little cakes, not to mention 80 teas that were available in the selection. Now my Mum loves a nice cuppa. “Nothing like a cuppa to make you feel refreshed” she says, “ah that was a good cuppa” and she finishes the cup lol. Well, when I saw this tea set stamp I just had to get it for Mum and I had to do it in pink as she looks really good in pink! So this one is for you Mum, enjoy your cuppa! xx
I have often admired a tea cup set (even though I drink probably a cup a tea per year lol) which is called the Age of Elegance collection. This card was my interpretation of that tea set. I made this card 6 x 6 in order to put the teapot in the background.
I gold embossed the edges with gold embossing powder and of course I had to add a doily to give it that english touch.
I made the saucer out of card stock and just embossed the edges with gold. This stamp set comes with its own matching framelit set and it is available now in the new Occasions Catalogue. If you would like to order this beautiful stamp set and framelits just click HERE or click on the SHOP ONLINE WITH ME BUTTON on the top right hand side of my blog.
Thanks for stopping by, and below is the list of items I used for this project.
